IPOC 2020 New Normal to be held on 2-3 December

The Indonesian Palm Oil Conference & Price Outlook (IPOC 2020) will be held online this year from 2-3 December.

“This event has become a benchmark for palm oil stakeholders in keeping themselves updated with palm oil market trends and price outlooks,” says the Indonesian Palm Oil Association (GAPKI), which is organising the conference.

More than 1,000 participants are expected to join the online event, called IPOC 2020 New Normal, which will feature speakers discussing the latest issues, regulations and policies relating to the palm oil industry.

The conference will feature six sessions focused on Indonesia’s macro economy and recovery plan; Indonesia’s strategy in increasing competitiveness; Indonesia’s current and future biofuel policy; palm oil markets in the Asia region; palm oil markets in Asia, EU and Africa; and a supply, demand and price outlook.

Key speakers include Indonesia’s vice minister of finance; deputy minister for food and agriculture and coordinating minister for maritime and investment affairs; as well as Thomas Mielke, executive director of Oil World; James Fry, chairman of LMC International; Dorab Mistry, director of Godrej International; Emily French, managing director of ConsiliAgra; B V Mehta, executive director of the Solvent Extractors’ Association of India; and Abdul Rasheed Jan Mohammad, chairman of the Pakistan Edible Oil Refiners Association.
