The 12th Indonesian Palm Oil Conference (IPOC) and 2017 Price Outlook being held from 23-25 November at the Bali International Convention Center, the Westin Resort, in Bali, Indonesia will focus on ‘Palm Oil Development: Harmonising Market, Society and the State’.
A panel discussion will be held on this theme. Other modules will focus on ‘Social Economic Benefit of Palm Oil Development’; ‘Palm Oil Long-term Supply and Demand’; and ‘2017 Palm and Lauric Oil Price Outlook’.
A special address will be given by Enggartiasto Lukita, Minister of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, on Indonesian Trade Policy and Palm Oil Industry Development.
“The conference will address the latest regulation of the Indonesian palm oil industry and its impact to the future of the industry, supply and demand, short-term and long-term price forecasting, as well as the market trends for the following year,” said Joko Supriyono, chairman of the Indonesian Palm Oil Association (GAPKI), which is organising the event.
GAPKI expects over a thousand participants at the event, which also includes an exhibition, golf tournament, welcome cocktail and networking night.
