Portuguese biofuels producer BioAdvance has built one of the largest European advanced biofuel plants in Portugal, The Portugal News reported.
Initially producing 20,000 tonnes/year, the €22M (US$23.6M) facility in the Port of Figueira da Foz would increase capacity to 200,000 tonnes/year within “two to three years”, the 29 January report said.
Once at full production capacity, the company would become one of the largest European advanced biofuels producers, The Portugal News wrote.
