Swedish fluid handling, centrifugal and heat transfer company Alfa Laval has won an US$18.4M (SEK155M) order for renewable diesel and jet fuel, the company announced on 30 April.

The order involves the supply of a pre-treatment processing line to remove contaminants from oil and fats feedstock prior to conversion to renewable diesel and jet fuels with delivery in 2022.

Alfa Laval will supply the petroleum refiner with its high speed separators and a variety of compact heat exchangers along with other equipment, engineering and services.

“We are very committed to projects like this, as it supports the climate part of our sustainability strategy,” said Alfa Laval president of the food & water division Nish Patel.

The Stockholm-headquartered company is active in the areas of energy, marine and food & water in around 100 countries.
