Biodiesel prices in Argentina are set to rise 25% this month following an agreement between the National Energy Secretariat and the chambers of the biodiesel industry, Biofuels Digest wrote.
Published in the country’s official gazette, the price increase reflected higher soyabean prices resulting from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on 24 February, the 4 April report said.
Prices will gradually increase until August with a 5% blending level, according to the report, although the chambers are calling for an increase to 10% in the blend rate.
