Thai companies – energy firm Bangchak, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) producer BSGF, used cooking oil (UCO) collector New Biodiesel and vegetable oil collection company Thanachok Vegetable Oil – have formed a coalition to create a UCO supply chain for the domestic SAF sector.
The companies had signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the venture, Bangchak said on 2 October.
As part of the collaboration, Bangchak said New Biodiesel, which has a large collection network in the southern region of the country, would sell UCO to BSGF through the “Tod Mai Thing” project to be used in SAF production.
