Process technology specialist Topsoe has been selected to provide technology at PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional (PT KPI)’s renewable fuels production complex in Cilacap, Indonesia.
Once operational, the refinery would produce 6,000 barrels/day (bpd) of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and renewable diesel, Topsoe said on 18 September.
Topsoe said it would be supplying its HydroFlex technology to produce renewable fuels at the Cilacap Refinery Complex in Central Java.
The project was Topsoe’s 50th HydroFlex sale globally, the company said.
PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional (PT KPI) is the refining and petrochemical sub-holding company of PT Pertamina (Persero) that acts as a strategic holding company.
Cilacap refinery is one of PT KPI’s integrated sites, where there is also a petrochemical complex.
